Official Windows Live Spaces RW Updates

This is the 'Live' version of Spaces Rewritten, it only receives updates from the development server periodically so you may find things in the Tour do not line up with the features on here.

This is on purpose until things are properly ready. This site is an external test of the system.

-System accounts will now show a System Account message and badget on their profile.
-Spaces/Server Administrators will now show a "Spaces Administrator" message and badget on their profile.
The above is non-editable by users. Users with these badges are official accounts.

-Updated HomeLeftProfileInfoFull gadget. It will now display the username below the profile display name.
-Resolved an issue where the username and display name would show despite them being the same on some profiles. If the display name is the same as the username, the username section will not be shown to avoid confusion.
-Updated removedfeature.html so the formatting is correct and displays useful information.
-Resolved an issue where popup windows had an incorrect minimum size of 1000px width, this has been corrected so that scroll bars are no longer visible.
-Resolved an issue where the wrong button shows when Setting Page Name.
-Resolved an issue where removedfeature.html showed the incorrect font for the rewritten navbar.
-Resolved a CSS based styling issue applying to Set Page Name.
-Resolved an issue where the Set Name Page would display the title for "Edit Profile"
-Resolved an issue where the Customise Space/Page would display the title for "Edit Profile"
-Resolved an issue where Customise Space would have the wrong size set for the popup window.
-Added the missing close button to Customise Page.
-Updated Edit Profile to use the rewritten navbar gadget, resolving an issue where an incorrect font and sizing is used.
-Updated Edit Profile to use the correct spaces styling for the Save button.
-Implemented scripts to the Save button in Edit Profile to show when the button is highlighted.
-Added missing Close button to Edit Profile.
-Resolved an issue where the incorrect minimum width is set when sending a friend request.
-Resolved an issue where the Index page launches the tour with a size that is too small.
-Resolved an issue with Tour that causes 1000px minimum width when it's not needed.

Feature Updates:
-The Right-side MicroControls gadget is now available.
-The Right-side Legacy MicroControls gadget is now available.



Backend Updates:
-Began migration of assets from individual gadgets to assets folder.
-External HTTPS testing completed.

Feature Updates:
-The Guestbook feature is being trialled and worked on and will be available soon.
-The "DogFood" notification has been restored and is present on some pages.
-Added nostalgic advertisements to the Check It Out tab of the homepage.
-Added Wave 4 Update Frames Ad to the homepage, clicking this will let you change your Frame Colour.
-Added Secret Code to Manage Your Space to unlock special/hidden/dev features. Secret pages and clicking on certain elements may reveal codes or unlock features for you.
-Added HomeRightMicroControls Gadget.
-Added HomeRightMicroControlsLegacy Gadget based on 2006 Spaces.

Bug Fixes:
-Resolved an issue where frames do not show up properly on the Guestbook.
-Resolved an issue where the homepage doesn't load on older versions of Internet Explorer.
-Resolved an issue where the Xbox Gamercard stars do not line up properly.

Back-end work:
-Code cleanup completed for gadget IndexRightUpdatedSpaces.

Feature Updates:
-Restores the missing frames around user profile pictures and friends on profile pages. Massive thanks to HappySlappyFace for the CSS work on this.
-Adds the missing Music icon to the Microcontrols bar.
-The friends gadget on your home page will now display your added friends with links to their profiles.
-Update to HomeLeftProfileInfo Gadget restores the displayName CSS function to it.
-Resolves missing classes for about and fixes a formatting issue.
-The correct CSS is now applied to the Messenger gadget on the home page, known as "Messy".
-Major updates to Messy and the friends system.
-Added the Community button to the homepage.
-Adds javascript to enable button highlighting on the home page.

Bug Fixes:
-Resolves an issue which causes warnings to show on the Microcontrols gadget of a users page if a user is not signed in.
-Resolves an issue with the friends request system which throws an error if the user isn't signed in.
-Resolves an issue where Messenger and friends system fails if a users profile was created before the introduction of the friends system. When spaces is loaded, loading Messenger will automatically resolve this issue and prompt for a refresh to finish.
-Resolves a compatbility issue on Internet Explorer 8 when on the Index page. IE8 will still need a lot more compatibility updates to get working again.
-Resolves error where annotation_error.gif is improperly referenced.
-Resolves an issue where the "Music" Microcontrol shows up as "Friends" and links to the wrong page.

Issues in this update:
-A profile created before the friends system will show an error when trying to use Friend Requests or Messenger. A fix is being worked on to automatically resolve this when the error is met.

Feature Updates:
-Added new sections to CustomisePage
-You can now edit your page name via Customise Page button
-Friends System 70% completed. Thanks to HappySlappy face for the CSS help. You can now send friend requests, however you cannot accept nor view yet.
Friend requests are now visible from the homepage.

Bug Fixes:
-Correct CSS applied to Blog Editor
-Resolves an issue where incorrect CSS is used on Friends Request system
-Resolves an issue where the friends system would ask a user to be friends with another user when they are already friends with the other user
-Resolves an issue where the mini navbar uses the wrong font scaling on various pages, such as set page name, customise space etc.

Backend Updates:
-Major updates to the Friends Request System.
-Began reverse engineering s_code.js
-Mini navbar is now appliable to pages via Gadget Loader.

Feature Updates:
-Began work on the new Messenger system. You'll now see a messenger tab on the home-screen if you're logged in.

-Resolved an issue where restoring page defaults creates a corrupt control entry.
-Cleaned up legacy Theme Engine code that's no longer in use.
-Removed part_link.php as it was going to be used but is no longer.
-Resolves an issue where you cannot edit the first blog entry created (0)

Bug Fixes:
-Resolved an issue where creating an account creates the account but fails to tell WLS that the account has been created, causing login issues.
-Resolved an issue where checking username availability doesn't load anything.
-Resolved an issue where the Guestbook gadget shows a plague of errors due to it reading the wrong directory.

Feature Updates:
-The xbox_green theme is now available.
-Theme Store now uses One Column type as it's undergoing redesign work.
-The guestbook will now show a non-functional warning until completion.

Feature Updates:
-If Microcontrols are enabled on your page, you will now see a "Customise Page" option if you own the space, allowing quick customisation.
-Theme Store will now automatically show theme Preview buttons if a preview is available, if not, the button won't be shown.

Bug Fixes:
-Resolved an issue in Community page that sent the user to an invalid page.
-Code Cleanup 55% complete for Community Page, several functions have been identified to be moveable to Gadgets.
-Resolved an issue where assets and javascripts do not load on the community page.
-Resolved an issue where the message button was broken when viewing peoples profiles.
-Resolved an issue where javascript code and assets don't load when viewing peoples profiles.
-Resolved an issue where the friends image is broken if they don't have one set when viewing a persons profile.

Issues identified in this update:
-The Photos button on the theme store leads to an invalid page.
